UX Research + Industrial Deisgn

Research Projects

Research Focus

I've spent the last decade answering one question:
How can design better support our meaningful and enjoyable lives?

My research area is on discovering future design strategies with new user experiences through integrating cognitive science or psychology perspectives. To explore novel user experiences, I'm passionate about understanding product meaning and the product-user relationship by investigating user cognition, behavior, and emotions.

Now

Currently, I'm working as a postdoctoral researcher at Cornell University's Meta Design + Technology Lab (MDTL).

I'm leading the projects to explore design strategies for how we can integrate AI technology into physical products through implementing design and conducting user studies.
