New KIA Electric Vehicle concept for i-generation.
This is a self-driving electric vehicle design project developed in collaboration with the Hyundai Motor Group, targeting the i-generation. The concept involves the integration of smart drones with electric vehicles, where the smart drone serves as a personalized assistant for users. It greets passengers, escorts them, assists with heavy luggage, shines spotlights, and even conducts traffic surveillance during operation. Furthermore, the electric mobility is customizable according to user preferences. Prioritizing individual standards and emphasizing the characteristic of the i-generation, known for their Free-protagonist nature valuing self-respect, the design focuses on their unique traits. The i-generation, born from the mid-1990s to the late 2000s, is familiar with smartphones, social media, and technology. Based on these characteristics, lifestyle analysis was conducted through methods such as hashtag research, keyword grouping, and image hunting. This project proposes new interactions and user experiences (UX) among smart drones, mobility, and passengers.
