Unlike general CI expressed by solid, KeumYoung Entertainment utilizes light and media, so the overlap between 'Keum (sound)' and 'Young(light)' becomes brighter, delivering joy and contributing through music to the world. The previous logo also could not contain the bright and transparent meaning of KY Entertainment. From this design innovation, the CI renewal project was undertaken that reflects the business direction of KY Entertainment and its inclusiveness that can encompass all ages and races within the music.
It is designed based on the consonants of Keum (Korean) meaning sound and Young (Korean) meaning light and media. When the two shapes are overlapped, the difference in height is made and expressed as a single figure. It symbolizes KY Entertainment, which spreads joy through music, reminiscent of musical notes and vinyl. By applying the overlapping part in a brighter color, it expresses the combination of sound, light, and media, and at the same time expresses the vision of KY Entertainment that shows a brighter future. It provides a musical image only in the form of a symbol and expresses a special business of combining sound and media.
KY's vision means that shares the joys and sorrows of life with dancing performance and singing sound. Dancing and singing are closely related to our journey of life by reflecting on one's emotions and now. The CI of KY corporation expresses the impactful significance of music entertainment in combining “sound” and “media”.
